My name is April JoAnne but I usually go by just April or AJ

Born and raised on Long Island (it's in NY- dur!) I'm definitely a city girl at heart.

I found out I was pregnant in February of 2009 and it's a boy :)

I enjoy scrapbooking, lacrosse, ultimate frisbee, swimming, kayaking, hanging-out online, web and graphic design, and just being silly with friends

Although I'm about to become a mom, I still feel like a kid sometimes. And I don't want that to change.

I can't cook. I love to bake.

Music I eat, breathe, sleep, music.

I'm not in school right now but I want to go back, and I'm pretty sure I would go back for web design.

♥About Jack

Jack is an IT major working at a local internet company.

He's from a very small town in Alaska.

He enjoys playing sports, mainly ULTIMATE! Frisbee and soccer

He's very good with computers.  You will rarely see him without a baseball cap, we finally retired his old beat-up dropped in a fire, taken halibut fishing, covered in fish guts and who knows what else Yankees cap and got him a new one, pretty much exactly like the old one, just new and still blue.

Like most boys, he loves food.


♥ Together♥

Jack and I met the spring of 2007. I had just moved to Utah that January and was pretty miserable (mainly due to the fact the food in UT sucks and there is no beach!). But once I started hanging-out with Jack and his friends, things changed!




I was happier and started having tons of fun. From mud football to SoBe bombs at bonfires, I was having a great time spending time with Jack and before I knew it we were falling in love.

It wasn't long until we got engaged, and our life together really began. We were married Sep 19, 2007 in the Manti, UT temple. Together we enjoy taking road trips, being goofus on the roofus, making friends, and doing just about anything random and fun!

Our family (really) begins♥

After about 6 months of trying, in February of 2009 we found out I was pregnant!

Our baby was born on Oct. 26, 2009. The whole experience was just amazing (read the birth story here). We just can't believe we're both parents!!

We're still the same outgoing, fun-loving people, but now we have a little baby to share our good times with.

Since he's been in our lives, our family feels so connected and full of love. Every little thing is that much more meaningful and life is just that much better.
