Did you read that subject heading correctly? I doubt it. Go back,
read it again, this time read it the way you know I would say it if I was standing right next to you.
Something along the lines of...
TWO WEEKS~!! AHH!Okay, much better.
So I had another visit to the doctor. He said he thinks the baby will be between
6-7 pounds which helps alleviate one of my fears of having to deliver a giant baby. But who knows, the doctor could always be wrong. Personally, I'm hoping for a little little munchkin though, as long as he's healthy.
I think my baby must have very short legs or something because the doctor said the baby's head is in position and everything but
I have not had a single kick in the ribs my entire pregnancy. And I barely feel any movement above my belly button at all. This could also be because like the nurse said, I have a very long torso and so the baby can't reach that high even if he is average sized. I'm 1 cm dilated which I was surprised to find out. I don't feel any different at all, I thought I would feel SOME changes as things progressed but nope, I feel the same as I did last week and the week before that (for the most part).
I got some more pictures taken last week. This time, Jack got to go with me which I was really happy about (I promised him sex and video games lol). The photographer mailed my CD this morning so when I get the pictures and have a chance to look through them all I will post them for sure.
I'm always surprised how big I look in pictures, I don't feel as big as I look in them but oh well I guess that's just life. Now that Jack and I have pictures together
I think I can get away with avoiding cameras until the big day.
Now that the day is drawing closer there are so many other things to think about. My primary concern at this moment is bills and insurance. I'm pretty sure we'll be okay paying for the delivery and everything after all you can always pay over time if need be and my doctor's office said they don't have interest on their payments as long as we make a payment every month. But I'm just trying to figure out the best way to insure the baby without having to pay the extra $300 a month it would cost to put him on Jack's policy through his work. I'm also trying to figure out how much we can pay for and find a sitter. I don't think I'll really know until I get a better idea of our finances post baby but I'm at least trying to have a general game plan.
I was looking online at sittercity.com - a site I used to find baby-sitting jobs, and a lot of the people I would look at and just be like,
I don't want them holding my baby! It's definitely going to be weird for me to trust someone else with my child, and the baby isn't even here yet and I already feel like that!
Pretty much everything is taken care of around the house at this point. I want to make a cushion cover for extra padding on the day bed, and I still need to hang up pictures and stuff but we have our stroller, the car seat is installed, the room is all set up and we're pretty much ready! I can't believe in just a few short days
Jack ad I are going to be parents!!This whole being pregnant thing really goes by so fast. I'm excited for not having to work for awhile (work has been draining me out lately!) and having my body back, and hopefully maybe my skin will stop breaking out, and having a little baby!
I'm actually about to become a mom. It's incredible.
