It's been awhile...

I haven't posted in a long time. Sorry!~!!!!

I guess I haven't really felt like there is much to update people one.

Here's a recap of things that have happened:

- I'm still pregnant ha

- I got a job at an airline :D

- The throwing up everyday has gotten a lot better

- I've either stopped gaining weight or my scale is broken (I'm thinking our scale is broken!)

Here's a picture of me at 21 weeks:

I can't believe I'm going to be 6 months pregnant on Wednesday!! Time really is going by fast. Soon I'll be in my third trimester!

So far I don't have any stretch marks, which I'm really happy about and hoping my luck continues.

The baby is moving a lot more than just a month ago. It seems he likes to wiggle around at about 1 pm till about 2 or 3, then he must take a really long nap or something because I don't feel any kicks again until about 10pm. I wonder how long he stays awake for... this is what has me worried lately. I like staying up late, and sleeping in but if the baby is awake until 4am and wakes up at 7, I might die.

Whatever happens though, I'm sure I'll be able to manage, it's not like I'm the only person who likes sleep that has ever been pregnant before. We'll just do what we gotta do.

I'm starting to be really excited about having a boy. I'm totally bummed that I sold my 6" long trick skateboard at the garage sale because it would have been soo adorable for baby!! Maybe I'll have to find another one, I won't start with that until he's older though so plenty of time.

I keep thinking back to the day Jack and I took our niece and nephew to the park while their parents ran errands. Gracie was 3 and I think Ben was 5 and I let them ride on my longboard with me and it was so fun! This lady stopped her car on the side of road to comment about how awesome she thought that I was teaching my kids to skateboard. I had to laugh since they weren't MY kids, but one day very soon, I will have my own little boy to teach all sorts of fun stuff. It will be so fun. :D

I'm beginning to be less overwhelmed about all the things that seems to be going wrong. I just have to accept things aren't always going to be the way I want them. It sucks, and it's really hard and frustrating when you plan things out to avoid getting screwed over and then you still get screwed but if I can't change it... I can't change it. There's really not much else I can do.

There are so many exciting things coming! I just have to try to keep up with everything and get ready for it all!

Don't eat your Scentsy

So the other day as I'm sure I've raved to all of you, I won the Scentsy giveaway from the Samjodiego blog.

Well, I got my product today and I can not tell you how excited I was!! It smells sooooooo good, everyone loves 'em.
I just have to share Jack's words:

He walked over to the warmer and looked inside, "It smells like candy in there, can we eat them?"

Haha he is so cute.

This is the warmer I chose:

I think it's really pretty and fits the nature theme in the nursery perfectly.

I'm thinking of also getting a plug-in warmer for the kitchen, or maybe even an additional warmer but we'll have to wait and see how things go financially for us. $15-30 is really not much at all but I have a hard time buying groceries, I'm not a big spender type personality.

Anyway I love the warmer, I love the smell, I LOVE the smell!! My favorite scent that I got is "Skinny Dippin'" I seriously could eat it, I keep inhaling deeply and then sighing happily haha it's fabulous.

My mom who is staying with us while she attends classes at the Y was very pleased with it also. She said it's good and healthy to have relaxing aromas around the house. I agree :) I think baby does too hehe.

So my husband is happy- albeit the scents might increase his already large appetite haha, I'm ecstatic, AND grandma is happy. Everybody wins :D

In other news... I've been feeling the baby move more lately which is fun now that I actually know what the kicks feel like- seriously at first I thought it was just like gas bubbles haha.

The house projects are moving along but I find myself getting discouraged as things seem to not be going according to plan in the bedroom. Apparently our king-size bed is too big to fit in the one spot where it owuld look PERFECT. Too big by like 2 inches. I wanted to just swap it for a queen-sized bed but I wouldn't want to swap with someone I don't know, used mattress egh! Also, we could just buy a new bed but then where would we store the king-sized bed? Our storage space is already pushing the limits.

I'm hoping I can figure something out soon that I'll feel good about. This is all stressing me out. It will be such a relief when everything is done.

Despite the setbacks I am still very excited, and even starting to think about ideas for our first halloween with baby. I was thinking we could do a football player for baby, me a cheerleader, and Jack a coach OR we can do my idea from last year, baby is Robin, Jack Batman and me Catwoman.

It's an exciting time and despite the fact that sometimes I let myself get a little too stressed around my family, I'm glad my mom is staying with us. She's really helpful and it's nice knowing I have someone to help motivate me to get stuff done and help to get stuff done.

Babys Mama!!

Well, I'm sure you all are sick of me talking about my online forum all the time but today we have done so major changes!

First of all, we now have a Twitter! Granted, I'm not a big fan of twitter, it is a great way to keep in touch and get more numbers on our site which is really what I want more than anything right now.

In addition, we also now have a BLOG which is what I am most excited about.

I'm planning a contest/giveaway VERY VERRY soon, and I can tell you right now, getting members to the site will help you a great deal if you want to win! *hint*hint*

Remember, you don't have to be pregnant or a mom to join, even if you are just wanting to share advice, or prepare for a baby or will be trying to get pregnant soon- the site will be great for you!

That's all for now!

Thanks everyone for all your ideas and help thus far, we're almost there!

um yeah...

It's been awhile, I know. I feel like I don't have much to say and when I do I'm not by a computer and I forget about it.

There is some good news to share though- my doctor's office called today to tell me they made a scheduling mistake with my ultrasound and need to reschedule so instead of next week my ultrasound is THIS WEDNESDAY!!! I'm so excited and can hardly wait! I don't know how I'm going to get through the day tomorrow I just know I will be pacing around like crazy wanting Wednesday to be here.

We'll finally figure out whose votes were right or wrong!

I haven't felt the baby move very much at all which is a little sad and worrying, and I don't even know if what i think is the baby moving is really the baby moving... it's hard to explain.

I've compiled a list of a few things I wish I would have been prepared for:

Um yeah, your nipples leak

Sex hurts :'/

Your daily vomiting doesn't always end at 17 weeks

Once you start showing- it's really not as exciting as you thought it would be
- in fact, it kinda makes me you feel like a giant, and it's scary to think I'm only going to get bigger.

Acne- bleh

It's weird, the body is changing a lot I guess, and these things aren't horrible but it would have been nice if I had known before hand so I don't freak out when those things happen.

In other news, Baby is about a full pound now :) and my weight gain has evened out back into the "normal/average" range.

I guess I should share a picture even though I feel like a LA:

... yeah.. anyway...

My parents are in town and so that means now we can start preparing the baby's room and I'm very excited :)

Also, I got offered the job I applied for LAST YEAR (long wait! they had a hiring freeze) at the airline and so now I can work from home :) I hope it works out well, I really really don't want to work on Sundays since that is our sabbath but I'm thinking maybe I can just donate the money to charity or something for the Sundays that I work. It's only temporary until I have seniority and can pick my schedule.

I'm excited and happy and glad things are going well. Now we just need to find out if we're having a little Evie or a Tommy!! *squeals*
